About Speaker
In software development for about 8 years. Has worked as a developer, architect and system analyst. At the moment he is managing a group of system analysts continuing to work on projects.
When he managed requirements for 12 products at Kaspersky Lab (previously there were only 2), timings and functionality became more predictable, products - more commercially successful.
Hired 10 system analysts (previously there were only 3 analysts). Helped to deploy requirements management process and system. Launched an educational program, quality assurance and motivation system.
Established requirements management for 4 products at Infosistemy Jet. Improved company’s inter-division communication. Organized partial development outsourcing.
In InfoWatchand then, later in Perimetrics he developed visions for several systems, provided their requirements management, improved quality assurance.
Participated in design and development of medical expert system at Kurortinform Tekhnovest.
In Econinvest he developed an automated logistics system that let to outsource several additional Microsoft partner programs without needing to hire new employees.
At Compaq education center and later at HP education center he automated document flow that decreased labor contribution threefold and sped up the education applications service.
Alexander graduated with honours from MEPI, as a specialist "information technologies in economics".

Management of system analysts group

Content:
  • Why should system analysts have a team manager: matrix scaling, replicating of ideology-manufacturing-relations; programmers who do not program; “don’t bother” approach.
  • Functional manager’s responsibility sector: tactic and strategy, coordinated goals, etc.
  • Prospective requirements analysis: roadmap, risks and forecasts – at a time scale, long-term planning “in a small”, accounting – how much spent and when it will be ready.
  • Development: group design, hire, education, vision, project task,
  • Employee highlighting: who gets what, % of load and task switching, how to obey the aim load.
  • Task setting participation: SMART, labor contribution, planning, self-planning, logbook of whom are waiting for, task completion and results analysis.
  • Motivation system: values, aims, time-attempts-result-marks, human factor (MBTI)
  • Other.
